What I Think
With the holiday season just around the corner it is time to break out the Christmas movies.
This one starts with a popular girl being ghosted by her boyfriend, a young girl trying to get her mother the perfect gift, a superstar trying to not be noticed, a couple of friends that are more than friends but don't want to say it, and a rogue tow truck drive with a conspiracy theory lifestyle.
Throughout the movie our cast is constantly battling emotional ebbs and flows. Many personal mistakes by the characters are put forth and they must learn from those to reach their happiness during the holiday season and or just in life.

There was great drama, a decent amount of comedy, and a nice story that wraps up the Christmas theme with a little bow. The way the movie flows is reminiscent of 80's teen flicks like The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, and Some Kind of Wonderful almost like a John Hughes-esque teenage self discovery movie.

All of the drama are what teenagers are going thru and have gone thru since all of our childhoods are represented. Love lost, popularity, sexual identity, relationships, and much more. I liked this movie and I am not a great big fan of holiday movies.

If you are a fan of Christmas movies and teen dramas then you may like this one as well.

I give this movie ⭐⭐⭐⭐ of 5 stars.
