What I Think
What this movie is truly about is the chronicling of the immediate effects that follow the break up of Harley Quinn and Mr. J (Joker). This shows how Harley Quinn deals with the decision she has made with leaving Joker but most importantly it shows what happens to her once everyone learns that she is no longer under the protection of Joker.
While with Joker people just kind of let her get away with murder (literally). Everyone that she had an impact on is now out to kill her. There is also the main storyline about a diamond that is stolen from the bad guy THE BLACK MASK who is played by Ewan McGregor.

At this point is where we start going through the trials and tribulations of saving a little girl and meeting the other players in the game to include the Black Canary and Huntress and go through their back stories which is interesting. There is also the numerous elaborate fight scenes and highly specialized action sequences that are reminiscent of the Tim Burton style Batman movies but this also didn't save the day.
As good as this movie was supposed to be I can honestly say that the hype didn't translate to a great movie at all. In fact I feel that all the hype hurt the movie. During the showing that I attended people walked out. I feel like the movie was too much in all areas. Not knocking the effort of anyone in this film, this is just how I feel.

If you think that maybe I just wasn't giving the movie a fair shake leave a comment and let me know what I may have missed.

I give this movie ⭐⭐½ of 5 Stars.
