Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...a short movie review for people with short attention spans!!

Quentin Tarantino wrote and directed this movie as well as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and Reservoir Dogs. He is truly a Legend in the business of show.

Plot
A faded television star and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969.
What I Think
From the get go we get a glimpse of how the movies and style of film making are at the time. We are introduced to Rick Dalton, DiCaprio, and his stunt double Cliff Booth, Pitt, who are being interviewed by a local news channel as they are explaining the role of a stunt double.
This rolls into a number of scenes that are showing Daltons' time as a movie star in Westerns and other TV spots where he plays the bad guy. It is basically documenting Dalton's decline in the movie business as well as Cliffs. As the plot goes forward we are introduced to Charles Manson, Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, Steve McQueen, and many many more players of this era.
Although there is only one scene with Manson the movie merges his storyline into the plot masterfully and plays with the way everything goes down in the end kind of like how The Inglourious Basterds was.
I very much appreciated how Tarantino continually brought you back to a realization about what era all this is taking place in by showing commercial, previews, and using products of the time. It wasn't just the music but a combination of things that made it real. There is a scene where people are smoking on a plane and you just can't really comprehend that.
This movie is a whopping 3 hours long but so much is happening that you don't really mind the length, if anything you want more.
I give this movie a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ of 5 stars
