What I Think
This movie takes place five years after the attack on San Francisco from the 2014 version of GODZILLA and the monsters are taking over. All hell breaks loose when a band of ecoterrorists break into a lab, housing the larva of Mothra, and kidnap Dr. Emma Russell, played by Vera Farmiga, and her daughter Madison, played by Millie Bobby Brown. They have a machine that can control the monsters and the terrorists want to use it as an weapon.

I liked the pace of the movie and the little back stories of all of the characters. You can really see what the inner struggles are with the way they act in their scenes. The graphics of Godzilla are very detailed but at times the action was a bit on the dark side, not emotionally dark but more like lighting. There are occasional bright spots where laughs can be had and a great big amount  spots but all in all the movie was very good.

The introduction to all of the major bad monsters is fantastic. When you meet Rodan in Mexico, the aftermath is enormous. When Mothra finally emerges in it's final form, it looks perfect, and then when Ghidorah is first show, his outline alone is very intimidating and fantastic once the the full reveal is presented which I feel sets the pace of the movie.

After that the action moves along and is punishing to all of humanity. Great movie all around.
If you liked the original 70's version of Godzilla, but not the first reboot of the Godzilla franchise starring Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno, then you will be happy to know that this iteration is about 1000 times better and entertaining.

I give this movie ⭐⭐⭐⭐ of 5 stars.
